Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Known worldwide as Lady Gaga. Her birthplace was in Manhattan New York United States. Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of the mobile operator Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. was director of a firm that runs an internet networking network. In a Catholic home her family was raised in Manhattan's Upper East Side. She was enrolled by her parents at the Convent of the Sacred Heart - a religious, elitist and exclusive school. It was a passion for her from the age of a child. She started playing the piano when she was just a little girl. When she was thirteen she wrote her first piece. She was a participant at open mics. Her favorite artists included David Bowie, Madonna and Michael Jackson. When she graduated from high school she enrolled at New York University's Tisch School of Art to study music. But after completing high school and entering the Tisch School of Fine Arts at New York University to learn about music.
